Default Beeping at 100 mph

Do these cars have an alarm setting for speed? The other night i hit about 100 for the first time and a beep started sounding, i brought it to 120 mph and then backed off. Has anyone had the same thing happen and is there a way to turn it off?

Sounds suspiciously like the alarm that goes off when the spoiler doesn't deploy. Did you happen to notice if it was up or not?

That was the open door alarm letting you know that St. Christopher just got out and the door didn't close properly.

You might be right I have been having a problem with the spoiler where it goes up and gets stuck, it's in the shop right now getting a new spoiler motor.
Hopefully that will fix it.

LOL! Well anything is possible at high speeds, but these cars are rock solid at high speeds.

I thought St. Christopher was "off the list".

I'm old and set in my ways. He may be off the official list, but I'm not taking any chances. I've had a St. Christopher medal in my car since the mid-`60's.

If you have time, check my post in the Exterior and Lighting Forum re: Headlight adjustment.
