Default New tail spoiler in developement

Well, I was going to order the Startech rear spoiler but I ended up just buying the front spoiler and the front and rear badges. I've decided to do my own rear spoiler. After a few days of messing around in CAD and MAYA I have a design which accentuates the rear without being rice or gaudy. Very small lip spoiler which has a slight crest and has the cars distinctive "crease" incorporated into it.

I've already got the clay model done and hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have my fiberglass mold done so that I can pour the resin final. I think it looks great and if people like it I will make them for you.

I'll bump the post once I have the prototype painted.

LOL. Why roll of the eyes?

I have access to a $150,000 prototyping machine which lets me build prototypes from .stl files. coolest thing you've ever seen.
clay model --->.stl model ---> prototype model ---> fiberglass mold ---> finished product

I made the side skirts for my Porsche this way and they came out fabulous.

Can you post pics as soon as possible. I have the mopar rear spoiler, but feel it's lacking something.

Please, please put my name on a list of potential buyers ! I would of course like to see the finished product on a car, but I'm very interested.

Keep us all posted !

Hopefully I can make some of the angles work. I'm having some problems with the fiberglass lay. Some of the seams are very sharp and my experience with fiberglass is ok. I'm going to see if the prototype machine at work has any material left. LOL, I have to take it easy because that crap is expensive and they don't know I'm using it for this.
