Default Any problems when approaching 36K miles?

About to reach the limits of bumper to bumper warranty. I plan on doing an extensive check up just before, but was curious if anyone's had some real bad experience when reaching this area, that they may care to share. So I do not get stuck with a large bill at 40K miles.

You might want to consider buying an extended warranty while the car is under 36K. Coverage is cheaper while the car is still under MFG warranty. In fact in some cases extended warranty companies won't take you once you are past the MFG coverage.

I'm approaching the 36K mark with no major problems. My warranty actually expired at the 3 year mark earlier this year so I'm past my warranty expiration... Just before it ran out I looked into getting the extended warranty that would co-terminate with the 7/70 powertrain warranty and it was very expensive. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,000 if i remember correctly.

I've got a bit over 34,000 miles on mine, and the only problem I've had
was with the intercooler water pump (SRT model). I too have looked at
getting an extended warranty, and really don't consider $2,000 to large
a bill, considering what it would take to rebuild one of these motors, (even
the base and limited motors), or should the tranny fail. If you plan on
driving the car until the wheels fall off, then I would consider this a good
investment.

To be precise, I have a lease with 50K miles, so 14k miles is what I'm concerned with. I asked chrysler about their extended warranties, and it seemed very expensive, esp. since I still am under my power train warranty, which should be the big-ticket repairs. If someone has a different competitor to suggest, please do so.
