My son, "Chris Mason" was killed in Iraq 11-28-2006
Please accept my condolences, although words may mean little right now.
I, too, am a devoted father from a military family. I cannot imagine being in your place right now.
I am grateful for your son's courage.

My heart goes out to you and your family for my fallen brother. All of us in the Marine family grieve and honor your son for his undying love of freedom and sacrifice for his country.
I am very proud of him as I know you are. Please e-mail me if I can be of any service.

Brave men like you son keep this country safe and free so that we can spend our time on much, much less significant things (like cars) without worrying enough about the real evils in the world. We are forever indebted to the courageous and noble men and women of our armed forces and grieve with you for your family's loss. As you know from experience, freedom is not free -- the cost of patriotism is personal and painful and often terribly unfair. Your service and your sacrifice humble the rest of us. May your son rest in the peace he has earned, and with our eternal thanks for his fearless vigilance.
As one Vietnam vet to another, please accept my most
sincere condolences from my family to yours. All we can do is pray that he did not give his life in vain. God Bless your son and God Bless America!

You guys are like Crossfire family to me an I wanted you all to know. hooah.
There is nothing more that I can add to what the others have said.
May God bless your son and all the others who have gave their lives for our country.

Please accept our condolences. He's truly a hero and we thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made to keep us all safe. God bless you and your family and we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Most everything has been said. I am grateful for the service and sacrifice of your son, your family and all the others that have served this country.
Watching the news report, I can only imagine how many people he touched, be it here in the States or overseas. I bet you'll hear many stories of the good things he did for others. I know that the news report touched me and strengthens me, knowing that young men and women will step up and serve our Lord and our country. I am sure he is missed by many.
I plan to do tell him directly someday.

My family and I send our prayers and condolences to you and your family on the loss of your son. We pray for all our brave men and women in the middle east and all around the world, they are true heroes.

FirebaseD, I truly sympathize with you my friend. My son is in the Marines (his name too is Chris) and he's due to go back to Iraq at the beginning of the year. I don't even want to think about the loss you are feeling. May God be with you and your family, my prayers are with you.
(My son loves my crossfire also, when on leave last time I let him drive it and he swiped my wife's car backing into the driveway "christening" my baby! I'm glad I realize it's just a car, and my perspective is a little more clearer now...
HOOO--AHH!)
