I can't imagine what you are going through right now, but I am truly touched that you have let us know about this horrible time in your life. The people who serve in the military are amazing people to do what they do and I'm saddened to hear of this news. Thank you for allowing us to grieve this loss with you.

My son has honored me because he was wearing the uniform of the United Military at the time of his death, and he was defending this great nation... and he humbles me because I can not go and do it myself...please remember my family in your prayers... my son was a Christian soldier, and he became God's hero. You guys are like Crossfire family to me an I wanted you all to know. hooah.

My grandpa served under Patton in WWII, and my dad was a tail gunner in Korea. Because of generations of men and women who served and sacrificed, including your brave and heroic son, we are free to define life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for ourselves.
I am also very proud and thankful of generations of parents such as you that struggle to provide the best family environment that teaches the responsibility of freedom. You are the ones who instill the ethics, morals, and values that lead the next generation to think beyond themselves and the sacrifices everyone must make to move our country and the human race to a higher level of existence.
God bless your family!

Words can't express the flood of emotions when one has a loss of this magnatude! I can only say I wore the uniform for 25 years and just retired last December, and during my service I have lost fellow soldiers. I have the pain of loss but not of a son, or daughter which I can't imangine how much that pain would cost me. I did not know your son but over 25 years I knew many and I can say that these young brave Americans that go around the world to serve America always impressed me and I was always proud to have served with them! Please accept my heart felt condolences at the loss of you son.
I am deeply saddened at the loss of your son. I served for 25 years and during this time I felt the loss of my brothers but I can't imagine the pain you are feeling. Please accept my condolences at the loss of your son we will pray for him.

As I read the condolences through tear-filled eyes, I too want to say how sorry I am for your loss. Just know that his sacrifice can never be forgotten because he has now ascended to the pantheon of our country’s heroes, with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and all the thousands of other fighting men who made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you forever Chris Mason! As a fellow Marine I say SEMPER FI and rest easy knowing that to be absent from the body is to be with the Lord! You and yours are in my prayers.
