I know it’s been posted a lot, but all i seen is Diablo GT or a few cheap universals, does anyone have a link to a Bolt on for the XF. I'm looking to do it myself with my dad who’s a mechanic. I figured something like $2,000 for bolt on is same as $900+ custom installation for universal.

With the current exchange rate those are going for about $2,400 shipped to the states. I'd rather spend $2,400 in performance upgrades.

 

those from CTD, say you need to cut and roll the fender/door jam, i'm not looking to do those.

 

I couldn't agree more! Lambo doors belong on Lambos.

 

Romio, check out forum member "ichon", his gallery has alot of photos of his car with "Lambo" doors.
PM him, I'm sure he can steer you in the right direction.

 

Any bolt on kit will still need the fender lip trimmed or rolled a bit for clearance.
Also the wires going to the doors will need to be lengthened on any kit.

 

ok i know that all the wires will need to be lengthened, but on a few sites i seen it says requires no mods at all. then in fine print it says some models may require fender mods. so its correct to assume everyone for the XF will need fender mod?

 

As far as I know any kit will require some fender mods to make room for the hinges.
