Talking Cheap Cupholder Solution

Hi Everyone. I have cheap solution to our cupholder problem. Go to Wal-Mart and pick up a "Wedgie" Auto Cupholder. It is made to stick between the seats and the center console. It has two cup holders and a middle compartment for change, wallet or something else. It works great! And to top it off it only cost $4!

I just use the person sitting next to me to hold my cup. And it's free! LOL. Actually I bought an adjustable cup holder at autozone and it only cost a couple of bucks. It works well, screwed it down in the center console storage compartment. It can grip onto a can of redbull or even a bottle of beer or wine. I have not tried out the latter of the two though.

Thumbs up Re: Cheap Cupholder Solution

If you read my original post I explained it there. I stuck mine between the passenger seat and the center console. The bottom on the "wedgie" is really skinny as seen in the pic. It slides right in. It is easily accessible and doesn't take any room away from the passenger!

I use a wedge, too. It is a bit shallow, so a large soda can take a flying leap if you aren't careful, but it is a good deal!

If you have to drink and drive in your Crossfire here is the drink holder for you:

But if you race and drink then you need the Drink Helmet:

That's a great idea Idaho for the roadster owners, but what about that pesky "head room" problem in the coupes.

Hey I am just the idea guy here not the problem solver. I guess we'll just have to have to mandate that all car sellers and owner have one of those gages you find a amusement parks. You know, you can ride this ride if you are taller then this mark or shorter then is other mark.

I've had one of them wedgies for quite some time, actually found it at a Wal-Mart an hour out of town. It works GREAT! I've never had anything spill. It's got two cup holes and a small space for something like a cell phone or wallet. It's a damned shame that Chrysler can put 475 cup holders in the Caravan, but not ONE even marginal one in the crossfire. They took everything else from the SLK-320, they couldn't take the pop-out cupholders from the dash of the SLK?

Goto the top right side of this page and you will see a Link named 'Gallery'.

Follow the Link and you will then see another Link called ' Upload Photos '.

Follow that, fill in the blanks for Browse, and hit Submit.

If the stars are aligned, and the website is not acting up, that will put your Uploaded pix into the Gallery for later viewing, or to add to one of your posts.

When posting a Reply, these pix will be available as Thumbnails via the 'My Pics' Link...

Hope this helps...

BTW, I have one of those Wedge Cup Holders and it works Okay, but I would have prefered a more permanant solution...
