air bag?

Do our air bags work? Check out this Crossfire on ebay, passenger side worked but what happened to the driver's side?

Tony I'm with you, sometimes I just can't figure out what it takes to make those things go off.
Maybe the driver "bailed out" before the car made contact, leaving the poor passenger to fend for himself.

Some time ago it was mentioned here that the passenger's side airbag breaks the windshield when it activates. The driver's side airbag might not do that because it is located in the steering wheel hub, farther from the windshield.

you are correct... the driver's air bag would not affect the glass breakage.

The center of the steering wheel would have been torn and the bag hanging out...the seller only mentioned the passenger side airbag being deployed.

Odd sale. Only two bidders. First bid for $2K then just before it closed the second bidder jumps in at $4,900. The second bidder had only one remark and it was made on the same day as the bid...
