C.E. Mason, Crossfire owner's ultimate sacrifice...
A fellow member's son (owner of a Crossfire) from this forum gave the ultimate sacrifice defending the ways of the United States of America in Iraq.
I compiled a VDO to pay my respect. The tribute can be found at:

Thanks for your time.

A beautiful and moving celebration of a noble life devoted to freedom for all. Thank you, xfire1, for doing this for Chris and for all of us too. We are thankful for heros like Chris and for good men like you who gently remind us about what really matters most.

actually, it was my focus of directing my own thankfulness to the brave serving and served... and to fellow crossfire owners... like you but particularly FirebaseD (HOORAH!).
XF1...thanks so much for doing that for Chris and FBD. Many of us knew Chris though his Dad's obvious pride and constant updates. He and the others are infinitely more than numbers in a tally we see on the news.
Thanks for bringing that home.
Senna.

I always remember the statement that you made (prior to you even owning a XF), you said something like "the crossfire is a unique car with unique people owning them"... in my opinion FirebaseD & his son leads the pack with a positive message!!!

Thank you brother for such a from the heart video, I can tell you knew my son from knowing other fine young soldiers just like him, it shows in the video. It honors them all, and each one has a place in my heart and prayers.
I support the troops, the president, and the war on terrorism in any country including Iraq.
The Crossfire forum is a true Red, White, and Blue community.
Again thank you brother, I am indebted to you.

Youtube.com is a great place to drop a video... alot of viewers... in fact there are alot of 82nd Airborne videos there. if you need assistance in your campaigning, i am here to enlist... ready, willing and able.
Also, what (version) Bible did Chris read from?
Warm regards,
j
update... i dropped the video i compiled onto military.com.
Chris is showcased on military.com's homepage!
VIDEO: http://shock.military.com/Shock/vide...Content=126418
homepage: www.military.com
it is a faster clearer view of the vid... lots of pics there and... also a group of Chris's 82nd airborne brothers, the 505th... has a group to join if interested...
if u need to search for vid... type in keyword: Chris Mason.

FirebaseD,
I checked back to see what was going on here, read some posts, made a couple posts and then found this news.
I have to say it shocked me. My wife and I had a son last year and already I can't imagine him not being around.
All I can say is my best hopes for the future go to you and yours.

I came back from my tore in Iraq just over 2 years ago. I am out of the NG (Combat Engineer 3 years) now, was in the Army for 8 1/2 years as an Air Traffic Controller before that and all I can say is thanks to my brothers and sisters who were able to keep up the fight and I wish them all a safe return home. And to those who might not make it back, to there parents that they did not die for nothing. I know firsthand what we are doing over there and even though the news may say different and some may say worst our solders are performing a grate and noble deed for the country. I may not agree completely why we went there but I do agree on why we are staying and the good we are doing.
