Thumbs up The price of XF's Worldwide

So, as a UK purchaser on an '06 manual I am interested in finding out what this is worth around the world...

I think I negotiated a great deal at £17.5K (35K USD) for a Sept '06, 1.6K miles coupe manual (there is only one trim level in the UK - so I assume this is the limited ?)

Did I get a deal ?

I don't know, are you happy with the purchase? If so then YES.

Excellent answer! I agree with you, if you are happy with it, that is all that counts.

I am very happy with what I paid - I think it was a deal for the UK... just seems like the price of XF's in the UK are vastly more than the US...

Just interested what you would pay in other countries for the same car... nosey brit and all that !

I looked at a red '04 coupe that had an automatic and 55k miles on it and they wanted about $22,000 US for it. I thought that was a pretty fair price. The lady who had it took good care of it and used it for a daily driver. Very clean inside and out. I saw a black one on a car lot for the same price and had fewer miles...

I picked up a brand new '06 base coupe about a month ago for a little more than $17,000 after discounts.

When I done the lease on an '04 coupe in July of '03, the car stickered right at $36,000 with some discounts, a little dealing and taxes added back on it came to around $33,000. I bought a new '05 SRT6 in Oct. of '06 that stickered for right at $46,000 for $29,995. But with taxes added and a few other items, it was out the door for around $31,700. But that's here in the U.S. where there are probably alot more available, you probably done alright.
