This is what I hoped all of you would say when I started this thread with Patton's ridiculous article. Thanks, guys. We love this car; we love its design; and we love this forum!

Ahh True artists are never appreciated while they are creating!!!
Keep up the good work and I think you are going to bring a new group of customers to Hyundai when they let you loose with a blank sheet of paper.

Thanks for giving us a dream, it is nice that we can cruise around in it and not just look at the poster on the wall.

Hey, if it's good enough for the Shelby owners, it's good enough for me.
Great Idea. I hope Eric goes along with this.

I was just kidding FP, but if Eric ever makes it to one of our hook-up's, I may ask him to sign my sun visor.

How cool is it to actually have the designer of our cars on this forum? I mean, what more could you ask for?

It is "Way Cool" and just another bonus I wasn't expecting when I got the Crossfire. The Crossfire Community is definitely a unique and pleasurable neighborhood to be in.

I've never been to a Crossfire meet...Are there any groups in Southern California? I know some killer roads around here for a group cruise. One of my co-workers was one of the lead designers on the Saturn Sky and got to roll with the Sky club. He said it was one of the most memorable experiences, being able to connect with Sky owners. Let me know if anyone wants to roll in SoCal!

That would be a blast! I plan on taking mine to the Cruisin for a Cure car show (http://www.cruisinforacure.com) on Sept. 22nd at the Orange County Fairgrounds. There are everything from new to ancient and everyone can criuse around and show off to thousands of attendees and spectators. There are venders, prize drawings and all kinds of entertainment. Register now, if you plan to go, it fills up quick every year. It is a real blast. Hope to see lots of other Crossfires there.

I have been to that show before. That would be a great place for a Crossfire meet. I was planning to bring my '66 Mustang, but maybe I'll bring my Xfire.

I knew what you meant. Just thought it warranted a bit of razz. BTW, that's beautiful car.

Eric,
I myself is a very great fan of this car. I let go of my '04 Blaze Red Limited for reasons that I don't like what I did with the suspension and the ride was just too stiff and harsh (with 19's and 20's).
I tried to look for another rare and unique design car and my second choice from the crossfire is the Lotus Exige. But unlike the Crossfire, I never experienced that " love at first sight " feeling with the Lotus Exige in terms of styling and design. I only love the speed which is what's missing with my limited. I have to think a zillion times either to get it or not since I am still on the long waiting list for the Exige.
Then, I woke up from my confused state of mind which then tells me " The Crossfire is YOU! ". So I decided to buy an SRT-6 and this time with the price you just can let go for that kind of exotic car. There's no other car out there that can still outshine the great design and uniqueness of our crossfires! Personally, I do like the auto deployed wing though and the Limited rear which really completes the flow of the design.
Thank you Eric for your grand design and for lifting up our passion on cars to another level after years of seeing plain boxy cars out there. Hats off to you and good luck on your new design.

Crossfires and Crossfire owners are special. It is hard to explain because most of us will probably never meet but there is a bond and something else I can not explain that I think will go on for a generation of Crossfire lovers and hopefully their children. "TEAM CROSSFIRE".

I completely agree. I love my car and love the uniqueness of it on the road. The car is a real head turner and there's not a place that I don't park that someone doesn't ask me about the car and say how great it is! I hope to keep my xfire for a good long time and my I love driving it every time I get behind the wheel!

I must agree. Unique design for unique people. I bought mine 3 days ago and I looove it. My kudos Eric for your design, and my greetings to the people in the forum who, without being conscious, helped me to take the final decision.
