the exhaust consists of removed cats which were replaced with straight pipe and a flowmaster 40 series muffler.

 

is it cat-back or just muffler?

 

just put in the top post what it consists of and posted a few more if you didn't see them.

 

i like it, but it's too much work compared to just bolting on a new cat-back system.

actually, i didn't put in any of my time, so their is no work at all and parts and labor from your local muffler shop it should cost about half the price of the magnaflow or borla cat back systems.

however; if you live in a state which does smog inspections, this will not pass.

 

Sounds good, but I think I'm hearing a lot of resonance in your clips. This is why I don't use the flowmasters especially on muscle cars, the interior is constantly buzzing and humming from the vibes coming out the rear end. How do you like it so far?

Anyone have a borla clip to compare?

 

i've had the exhaust over a year now, the interior resonance isn't buzzing and humming but it is present i however like to be able to hear my car inside so i like it also; i can turn the radio up and it really isn't too much of a factor.

the videos were recorded with the windows down, so resonance would be cut at least in half but just rolling up the windows...if you want the same basic tone but less resonance you could always go with a flowmaster delta series.

 

I'm glad FL doesn't do inspections so I could potentially do this but it sounds almost too loud.

 

Man that is pretty bad ***. Man the crossfire sounds so damn pretty.
