OK - this is a new one - when I have the stock stereo on FM (not AM or CD) and I hit the rear defroster button, the stereo goes to all static. I am bringing it in to the dealer (it's an '05 Limited) to have them try to fix it - anyone else have this problem?

 

Most likely a grounding issue. Hopefully they will be able to fix it for you quickly and with little or no pain.

 

That's what I thought at this point - this morning even without the defroster on my stations were going in and out - maybe a loose antenna wire as well. Guess I just have to run the gambit with issues that need fixed at this point before the bumper to bumper warranty expires. I went through this with my '01 Sebring LXI Coupe as well.
