squeaky window
Hey,
So my b2b warranty will be up soon. The driver window is squeaking. Do I risk bringing it to a Chrysler dealership to get it fixed, or do I live with it. Will they make it worse or ***** something else up? Will the squeaking get worse if I don't address it? Thoughts?

Get over your fear of going to the dealer. Why live with something that's not
right? Just take it in and get it fixed. I had the same problem, the driver's
window squeals - they cleaned and lubed the regulator.

my '04 has been in more times than i remember for a squeaky passenger window, they clean it, lube it, ??? and on a hot day it does it again, now they blame the aftermarket tint.
at least they finally got the door to close properly without the window corner sticking out and making a huge wind noise, that only took 6 visits.
good luck.

It's not the tint...it's weather stripping. MBs are notorious for this, what you need to do is grab some thin felt and glue it to the stripping. I know of several MB owners that have done this and it should solve the problem. A pretty crappy DIY fix.
