My xfire is trouble free
'05 SSB coupe, 2,500 miles. and I love it. Had the linkage replaced (hard to get to 2nd) and new headlights put on (scabbed up plastic). All that was done under warranty though.
Dealer is good, they have a XFire Certified tech, and I have no complaints. Oh sure, Chrysler is trying to bone me on the luggage and nav CDs, but otherwise, this is a wonderful car and a cruiser in the finest grand touring tradition. A real bargain.
The Ltd ride is smooth, the tranny shifts great and I get 27 mpg on the highway. I ignore the cupholder and life is good.

I knock on wood, I've had mine now a bit over a year, and have around 11K miles on it. It has not gone back to the dealer for any warranty work.
Funny how everyone is praising their cars for being trouble free. It should be expected that a modern car with under 50,000 miles shouldn't have any major problems.

And it seems on forum such as this, negative comments and complaints get center stage. So I felt a thumbs-up for the car was in order.

I still drive the crud out of that truck. I just hauled a fridge at lunch for a co-worker.
Now its a part runner for the XF. I've spent more money in aftermarket parts (goodies) in the last 2 mos for the XF (aka "The Toy") then in 12+ years (excluding 4 sets of BF Goodrich AT tires) owning my truck.
Take care of your vehicle and it will take care of you.

Passenger Door does not open (Fixed)
Wind Noise from driver window (Not Fixed)
All the work was done under warranty so far...

Still has original hoses but they are ready to be replaced. Still bone stock except for the radio.

My point to my Crossfire is that it has not had to go back to the dealer for warranty work, not even a small adjustment. I think most cars will have a dealer visit shortly after they been delivered for some warranty work. Very few don't.

Yep, I have a 2000 F150 with over 100k on the clock. Still has original battery. Only major thing I've ever done is replace the front rotors, brake pads, and wheel bearings. Runs like a champ. My 2005 Infiniti G35 however (like many other 6MTs of the same year) had an oil consumption issue at 12,000k. Unacceptable for a car like that. I got rid of it and am hoping I'll have better luck with the SRT6. Its going in tomorrow for the headlight seal deal.
