Dirty Donuts!
For those that like video clips but don't venture down to the techy sections where I posed it earlier...
Dirty Donuts
Dirty Donuts
If you want to play in the dirt then go get a 4X4. Why in the heck would you do that to your Crossfire ?? Don't you have any respect for a fine Automobile? Why don't you make another video and just crash it into a wall. That would be cool wouldn't it.
Woody... Ignore those who have no heart for donuts.
I just wanna say thanks for posting your antics (done in a safe and legal location). Excellent music choice too... BRILLIANT!
To quote a friend who saw the video "dude... That's so... Dude... wow, I'd love to... DUDE! THAT ROCKS!"
Love it ... love it love it... gonna have to pull the rear sensors and inertial module and go for a 'spin' myself as my tires are nearing their end as well.
Wheee!!!
p.s. - I have an external camera mount too... gonna have to one-up you on the video...

And thanks for the encouragement, we all love our Crossfires for different reasons, I just happen to enjoy every single aspect of it from just sitting looking at to exploring the absolute limits of its performance.
In response to VALKRYDERGUY, if had no respect for my Crossfire why would I:
1. Borrow the equivalent of my annual salary to just to be able to buy it.
2. Choose it as my daily transport.
3. Constantly explain why, as a car enthusiast, I bought an 'American' car and not a 'proper driver's car' like a 350Z, RX8, Z4, Boxter, Elise, VX220, Subaru...
4. Have kept my car's appearance true to the original design and not compromised the purity by fitting aftermarket wheels, chrome accents and the like. (No offence to those that have, its just my personal taste).
5. Have not messed around with the interior fitting mismatched shift *****, wood, carbon fibre, bits that ruin the design's flow (Again, my own taste}
6. Park it at the other end of the car parks to avoid getting it scratched.
7. Not fitted alternative emblems to disguise the fact that it is a Chrysler. I'm proud its a Chrysler Crossfire!
8. Spend hours in the evening answering emails from other owners around the world.
9. Fund my own Crossfire website.
10. Take the time to post information up here that I think may be of use to other owners.
11. Try things out on my car so others don't have to.
12. Spent 1,000's on hardware and software diagnostic development tools.
13. Spend nearly every weekend washing, polishing waxing the body work, vacuuming the interior and rectifying small paint defects. 6th monthly clay barring etc.
14. Live with 800 GBP a year on insurance.
15. Live with <30MPG at 50GBP a tankful.
16. Drive 1,000's of miles across Europe in it each year supporting McLaren Mercedes.
17. Drive it in club sporting events including autosolos and autotests.
18. Drive it on trackdays, nearly always as the underdog, until people realize how fast a Crossfire really is!
19. Frequent and generally support this forum...
YOU TELL 'EM WOODY... If anyone should get crap it's me for completely ripping mine apart... At least you still have an interior...
And if anyone has helped this forum more on the electronics of this car I don't know who it would be...
BRAVO DOUGHNUTS YIPEEE !!!

Is that clear enough?
if its was anyone else i would question the sanity of the driver ... but i know it was in true spirit of defeating the evil traction control that woody took to showing off it can do donuts.

see a Crossfire used as a farm tractor. Dude, are you nuts? Why would
you endanger your cars fit and finish in such a way? Find a nice cul-de-sac
somewhere and cut some donuts there. Just make sure to sweep the area
real good first.

OMG!!! You take your car out in the rain too?!?!?!? j/k.
You Brits get all that rain and here in SoCal we can go 9 months at a time without a drop. It's sort of like cheating to say "I never take my car out in the rain" when you live here!!
