Well no offense to you bro. I would hope that you aren't like the police down here. I think most of them skipped class the day their police academy covered Ethics...

Ok, back on track. Let us know if it works. BTW, can you maybe take a some before and after pics?

Officer, yes. Not a police officer though! Federal, military, etc. I serve my country with ethical responsibility and honesty.

Can we get back to cars though? I'm here for automotive enthusiasm, nothing else.

Ok, so, hours of labor and my results are as follows: A severely scratched windshield. I followed the directions exactly and used the polish appropriately. A new windshield is on order.

That's what I was afraid of... Well now we know. I guess the old Spark Plug Insulator trick is in order for you...

I think that all of on this forum owe you a big "thank you" for going ahead and giving it a try. And in many ways, this is one of the biggest values of a forum such as this - it saves so many people from having to go through the same thing you did. Thank you!

That's unfortunate...it would be have been so handy to be able to fix these sort of things easily.
I go to the Octopus car wash, they have a gentleman outside that will fix dings and chips after calling your insurance to make sure they cover it. And he's awesome.

Well, I know the pits are extremely annoying to many of us because we try so hard to keep the cars clean and spot free, yet there is nothing you can really do to improve the visibility of the window when you have pits and scratches.

I figured I would look for a solution, and usually can find success with Eastwood. Hey, if it had worked, it would have been awesome!

I bought the Eastwood kit about 15 yrs ago also. No luck for me either. Just snake oil.
