You can go to any legitimate Chrysler Dealer and talk to them. Tell them you want the Max Care Warranty....if the dealer isa worth his salt, he will help you do it. You can ONLY do this if you are the second owner though. Otherwise, you're just some flunkie that walked in and they won't give you any respect. Read the other comments from the begining and you will know how much you should pay. Some dealers are shifty and will try to make a huge profit on you (imagine that!)

I went through my records and here's what I have. I purchased this through Chrysler Service Contract in January 2008. I got a M760N MaxCare package for $1445. I think this is for 7 years 60K miles. It was written by Champion Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Barrington, Illinois. Their number is 847-382-5400. They just sell the policy. The actual policy is underwritten by Chrysler and is good anywhere. The contract that was sent to me lists Ann Tomlanovich as the Director, Daimler-Chrysler Service Contracts. Obviously that title has changed! There is a toll-free number that is listed - 800-521-9922. Good luck!

Unhappy Re: Chrysler Max Care Extended Warranty Todk64

In November 2005 we purchased a 2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring from the Pre Owned Car department of a Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer in Grapevine Texas. At the time of that purchase we included and bought the 8/80 bumper to bumper extended warranty.
The car has been serviced, had warranty work performed and maintained for 7 years 3+ months multiple times by the very same dealership.
I took the car in last week for a warranty covered repair and they are saying there is a $100 deductible I have to pay.
I showed them my paperwork and it specifically says that the 3/36 and the 7/70 warrantys both have a $100 deductible. It makes no mention of any other warranty plan having the deductible.
I have never ever paid a deductible for any warranty work performed on this vehicle. I submitted this to my lawyer for his opinion as well but I hope to hear an educated response from a reputable outside source as well.
Any comments on this matter?

Just a comment... your paper work states $100 deductible. You skated through warranty claims without having to pay the deductible... now your complaining that they read the warranty and want the $100 this time?

Did I read that right?

Okay re-read.. your riding on the 8/80 warranty now.. correct? What is the policy about deductibles on it.. that is the only leg you have to stand on.

No, I'm sorry , you didn't read it right. I have an 8/80 warranty and my paperwork specifically mentions the 3/36 and the 7/70 warranty as having a $100 deductible. It makes no mention of any other warranty having the $100 deductible. I believe that's what I wrote. TY for asking though.

Just my $.02, but if your warranty doesn't mention a deductible, I would not pay it. If they can't show you in the paperwork you signed what you "missed" about the deductible, then they are out of luck. It's as simple as that. In my experience, a lawyer charges $100 just to acknowledge that you are in the room and the rates go up from there, so don't save $100 from the dealership, only to hand it over to the lawyer.

Good luck!!

I have the 7yr/60,000 mile warranty and have used it twice. There is no deductible. Unfortunately it expires in about another month.
