Cracked Trans case at 88k
I still have a 2005 manual with 5K for $300.00 plus shipping from the West Coast. I purchased it and an engine last year. It appears to be in great shape.
I would jack up the car and look for witness marks from the tire shops hoist. I think they did something stupid while under there. The tranny case is very robust and your not putting out 400hp through it. have your insurance agent do an inspection, maybe you can find some paint transfer from thier lift. make those grease monkies pay for it!
The $299 LKD 6 speed trans with 4000 miles was just relisted on ebay. Its located in Belleville MI.
