There are other states that do not allow you to pump your own gas also. I got yelled at in, I believe, Oregon because I started pumping my own gas. They will actually cite you.

This just happened to me tonight in NJ.

Asked the attendant to fill it up ultimate. It was one of those pumps that has one nozzle and the attendant has to press the right button. When it clicked and I seen $30.00 on the screen and just knew something wasn't right. The total gallons were just over 10, and the price of ultimate there was $3.18. The price of the regular of course just under $3.00.

Looks like I got a full tank of regular gas! I am so mad.

...Exactly 6 days ago my car was at the dealer for the dreaded heated seat repair when the tech said it was idling funny and needed 2 new air filters and a fuel injection cleaning. I'm pretty sure they just wanted some money ($286.59) out of me considering the heated seat fix was free (Purchased the car certified preowned from them in May and they agreed to fix). They tried talking me into transmission and brake fluid change as well. No thanks.

So much for the fuel injection cleaning now that I have a whole tank of regular to burn.
