Default alarm siren

Has anybody's alarm siren just stop working?I have an 05 and the lights blink but no noise. Worked a few weeks ago but hit panic button to wake up parked sleeper and it didn't work.

Cool Re: alarm siren

It may be the siren speaker have the dealer check it for you, if it needs to be replaced it is covered under warranty.

Maybe you're aware of this already , but for the panic button to work, you must must hold the panic button in for a bout 3 secounds.

Does your siren beep or make any noise when you lock your car with your alarm key? Mine does not make any noise when I press the lock button :-/

If you get the updated speaker - there will be a chirp when locking the doors.

It's under the cowl cover-under the windshield wipers.

Search for a thread "Alarm chirp..." and someone did the install himself.

If you want a Keyless Alert Alarm Tone for less than 5 bucks, follow the instructions the in link below:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/...ad.php?t=23009

Or, you can replace the alarm siren with an updated one if you want to spend more money, or you need to replace it anyway. Do a search for that info

If you get a new one you will more than likely end up with a keyless chirp whether you like it or not.
