I think the same way about lambo doors.. the real problem with them.. is that they never really offered functioning the way doors on certain lamborghinis did.. all the kits that are sold for most cars work by you pushing the door out than up.. Real lambo doors just go up and don't need to be pushed out.. and if the car rolls over you will get out the same way as you did as if they never existed as you still have to push the doors out first...

Hey SexyCross06, please don't forget to tell your friend making the carbon fiber hood that there may be others here at the forum that want one. After all, parts are hard to find and so is a part maker. Hope to see pictures of your car soon, good luck!

Couldn't you find any lower ratio gears for the track or were you doing a lot of street driving? I'm sure a 411 locker setup (assuming you had a manual trans) would have knocked a little off of the ET.

LOL!

Irwin, it's called criticism. I haven't flip flopped on my opinion. I think 20s are too big and I think the CF hood and pink trim is gaudy. Dude, I don't care who's car it is, male, female, whatever. It's no big deal Man. I'm sure some people love your car, others probably hate it. I actually like your interior. Yeah, we all bust on eachother from time to time, but that's why it is a forum. It's basically just a bunch of car people wasting their time on the internet. The forums do however provide outstanding information for all types of issues. I take all the B.S. with a grain of salt. Just laugh it off. It's like a bunch of buddies sitting around ribbing eachother. Chill Devil, chill!

Yeah it was manual. However I did use it for street driving alot. So I needed it to be somewhat a daily driver.

Oh and I will deffinately tell my friend others may be interested in a carbon fiber hood. As soon as I get picS I will post them and if you like what you see I will give you all the information you will need to get in contact with him.

No doubt your car made for a nice daily driver. I'll bet you stunned some male drivers at stop lights....lol

And, when the males on the board get around to checking out your Gallery photos, I anticipate a whole new level of interest in what you have to say.

I've just quickly scanned through this thread (and like most it wanders onto other stuff)...
Briefly, you should just be able to make/take a 'splash' of your current hood (show/customer side), out of fiberglass or similar (preferably something that does not shrink too much). Once you have that you have the mold for the outside of the hood - strakes and all. Then you lay your CF into that. One shot tool. You obviously have to trim the hood after that, finish up the raw edges etc, mount bracketry on the underside so you can attach it - unless you're going with pins etc. for an even lighter hood.
