Default New member with Locking feature problem

I'm a new member and just getting used to my Crossfire Roadster. I have gotten it with 8400 miles on it two weeks ago. In reading the manual (pg. 13) it has a procedure for automatic locking when you reach a speed of over 9mph. I have tried every way I can think of and it does not work. Any suggestions or has anyone had this problem? This Roadster is stock as far as I know.

That does'nt seem to work on my central locking system. I've tried holding the top of the lock button for over 5 seconds with the ignition key in run postion and it does nothing. Possibly someone else has had the same problem. Thanks for the help. I'm going to take it back to the Chrysler dealer where it got it. I still have a year left on ths warranty. I'll let you know how I make out.

I am curious. What kind of gas should I use for my new car?

Welcome to the forum.
It is highly recommended that you use no less than 91 Octane fuels. Higher Octane fuels are also recommended.

I think that one of the top tier gasolines makes a big difference. Usually doesn't cost anymore than the lower detergent gasolines. Of course the octane is even more important.

It's hard to believe Exxon-Mobil and BP are not on the list.
