Icing on windshield in summer...
When I turn on the air conditioning I get ice forming on the outside of the windshield at the bottom. I have to run the wipers on intermittent to clear it. Is this common to Crossfires?
I've owned three other air conditioned cars and never had this problem.

The air hitting the inside of the window, with the air conditioning on, is so cold that the humid air on the outside condenses and freezes on the outside. Mine does the same thing. I guess it just shows you how good the air conditioner is on our Crossfires.
We had a maintainence forman at work that would explain that the water dripping off of the pipes in our shop during the summer as " the compensation dripping off the pipes caused by the high humility in the air. " Kind of the same thing.

A friend of mine had this happen on his Mercedes E-class and that is exactly what was happening. They fixed the defrost vent, which was staying open a bit even when the winshield defroster was supposed to be off.
This is only compounded by the fact that the air conditioning system in the Crossfire could likely cool down a full-sized sedan with room to spare.
I get the impression from the replies that this is not a common problem.
I suspect it's a result of the "Crossfire trained" mechanic spending an hour and a half trying to get the dead on delivery radio out through the back of the console before he discovered that it was designed to come out through the front.
The lack of heat to the footwell is probably the result of the same maltreatment.
