Default Flowmaster muffler --- anyone try it

I put a flowmaster muffler on a 911 I once owned and it was the best bang for the buck. Has anyone ever put one on their Xfire? If so, what number was it and how hard a job. These cars are nice, but they need some bigger sound to be great, IMO. So lets hear from the masses.

Yea, that's not a bad sounding note, but it could be much better. When I changed my stock muffler out for a Flowmaster on the 911, it transformed the car into something is should have been all along. The engines are basically the same, 6 cylinders, but the tone in the video is still to "ricer" for my taste. I'm not sold yet, but keep them coming.

It will never cease to amaze me, how little people use search functions on forums just playing

here are a few videos of my old crossfire, the sound on the third video sounds distorted or odd at the beginning, that is not the exhaust sound, that was distortion picked up by the phone...it wasn't ricey, it was actually a pretty deep tone. i had the rear cats removed, and replaced with straight pipe as well though, and it went to a single 40 series flowmaster, and i had the stock tips rewelded

This is to be the best exhaust sound I have heard.

Does someone know if the "jenzie79" is a member of this forum.

I would definitely like to know where he purchased his muffler.

Does sound nice! I am looking for an exhuast upgrade soon and of course I want that nice deep tone, but nothing super loud. That clip was perfect IMO.
