IMHO, that's a little lead-footed and explains the low city mileage. I generally shift gently in the 1500-2000 rpm range unless there is a need to go fast. (Like impress someone; or race aother car; or get away from a tailgater; or just because it's fun to go fast once in a while.) I also do mostly highway driving which helps the gas mileage.

Probably too high RPM's for good gas mileage. I recently bought my SRT-6 coupe with 3K mi. for $20K and should have bought two as the gas pedal alone is worth the price of admission. My speed limit cruise home on the freeway yielded 27mpg so it is all in your foot. Best wishes, Tomygun

I have the same car and same year. I paid $13500 with 14m miles. You did very well. I have not seen my car sell for less than what you and I have paid. Enjoy.
In town I drive much the way you do and you pay for it in lower MPGs. I drive mine though to have fun. On the highway I can get 30mpg if I watch my speed.
