Please do a search.
There is a a whole thread that shows you how to R&R the air filters.
Just a hint, you only need 1, maybe two strong hands to change the air filters.

thanks, got the cover off and saw that i can not see the filters without unscrewing their housing on the sides. i also was able to remove the mb intake hoses that are connected to the cover, does any filter go into that? i guess the kn filters fit but now i need to get someone who has them in chicago and who can install them.

i'm in oakbrook. there is an advanced auto parts just north of me in villa park that ordered them and got them same day (they were in stock in their warehouse). maybe see if there is an advanced auto parts near you...
All my torx drivers are in Houston. So I am gonna have to pick up a torx driver when I do the install at the parts store in about an hour. haha.

the filters cost me 45Cad$ each, so yours should be about 30U$ each plus the price of the screwdriver. The cabin filter is about 30 bucks also, good luck

Filters cost me $38.99 each. $84.02 after tax.
The Torx driver for the intake is a T-25 (don't know if that had been said).
Process:
1) Remove left and right intake tubes from airbox.
2) Remove airbox from engine (rubber grommets - just pull)
3) Turn airbox over remove 4 screws on each filter cover.
4) Replace filter in same orientation as OEM
5) Do steps 1-3 backwards.
