Fourthly, the new tune removes the rev-limiter. For 6 spd users, you are free to blow the motor if your not careful with the 1st gear. I haven't tried it yet but it appears, with the increased power, I could use WOT in 1st gear for less than 1 second.

I hope you are right on #4. I haven't tried it yet since the tune but hit it a few times before just as I was getting ready to grab another gear.

I thought I hit the rev limiter once. Then again maybe I pegged it... oops.

The Beep,
My experience was better than yours. Yes getting those clips on was a challenge but I was able to get mine all on. I had to trim down the spacers for the fuel rail so the injectors sat a little deeper. The trim on the cover worked fine and I had no problem getting the CAI fitted.
I also have hit the rev limiter in second gear.
Brian.

You can't remove the REV limiter on these cars, your reputable shop should know this. We increase the redline to 6200 RPM (AMG stock). There is still a fuel cut off at 6200 RPM. We race our car on a regular basis and I have hit fuel cut on more then a few occasions.
As for the injectors not fitting the clips, again find a new shop. They aren't going to slip right in, and they won't slip right into OEM injectors that are brand new either. They are a basic EV1 style connection, that is basic car tuning knowledge.
As for the air tube, he probably should've unclipped the Evap canister connector if he was having trouble fitting the tube.
Reputable or not, you really should make sure you know what you are posting before bashing our products.

The news about the rev limiter was alarming and hopefully it's false. I'll talk to the mechanic and see where he got the information.
Other than that, the only bashing of the product was the poorly cut engine cover as over time, it would cut into the upper radiator hose and looks amateurish. The rest had to do with the tough installation.
Your product appears to deliver what you promised. More HP. Perhaps it would help if you sent out detailed instructions with it. .02

Nut deffinately question that rev limiter issue, because MB isn't that nice in letting us disable it.
