Adjust headlight question
My friend replaced my drivers side headlight for me as I couldnt figure out the whole clip thing. When i drove at night though the headlights dont match up, he made it too low compared to passenger side can i adjust this without taking the bulb out or will i have to take bulb out if so how do you match them up evenly please help
If all he did was replace the bulb than he didnt get it back in the right location. It probably is not quite in the slots that it fits in. It will need to be unclipped and rotated.
He shouldn't of had to change adjustments just for changing the bulb.

The clips that hold in the headlight are all to easy to install incorrectly.
The first thing I'd do is park the car about 25 feet from a wall or garage door, then turn on the lights, followed by the high beams.
If all your friend replaced was the low beams, then the high beams should still be lined up correctly.
If the low and high beams are aimed incorrectly then you will have to turn the adjusters on the headlight assembly.
There's a spring clip that has to snap into place properly, otherwise the light will "seem" to be aimed the wrong way. Also, be careful, depending on how close the light is to the plastic assembly (assuming is is not fully installed into it's slots), it is possible to melt the housing.

The correct low beam bulb replacement is covered in this excellent posting. It even has pictures to show the correct positions.
