Don't understand the question.
Are you saying that the supercharger is constantly engaged?

The fan belt.....was turning so fast I could even hear it when I was driving.....& the check engine light eventually came on.

The dealership just called.....said it healed itself (religious overtone?)??? .......suggested it may have had something to do with the mass air flow sensor & zero degree temp outside (+ I was going over 100mph on I-70 just before it happened)....

Wonder what the wind chill is at 100mph / 0.0 F ?

Maybe I should slow down at these temps.....

Wind chill is a measure of evaporative effects. Has no effect on machinery, only living things. Even democrats!

Wow, religous overtones, maybe we should take up a collection.

I am pretty sure the fan belt cant go any faster than the crank shaft.

Well, if you find one that does, get a short one, bypass the crank, and let the belt run the acc. by itself.

Hmmmmm, very interesting ! Guess I'm gonna have to watch for belt overspeed at 100mph from now on !

With Chris L's references to serpentine belt and fan belt, could it be that he heard the electric fan running all the time and had assumed it was run by a belt.
Not everyone spends their days with their head stuck under the hood, some never lift the hood at all.

I think you hit it on the head......(didn't fans used to run off belts?)

Regarding wind chill.....I know the term applies to flesh.....but I can't help but think that zero degree air moving at 100+ mph is going to pull more heat away from an inanimate object faster than zero degree air standing still.......

P0112 Intake air temp sensor, stored code ....

In any case.....she's running like a striped-***-ape again!!

Go to this site and look at section 7.7 (cooling) It explains what could be wrong and causing the fan to run constantly.

Oh, when I said she was running like a striped-*** ape again......I meant the car in general....not the fan...everything seems to running correctly again.....
