The fan belt.....was turning so fast I could even hear it when I was driving.....& the check engine light eventually came on.
The dealership just called.....said it healed itself (religious overtone?)??? .......suggested it may have had something to do with the mass air flow sensor & zero degree temp outside (+ I was going over 100mph on I-70 just before it happened)....
Wonder what the wind chill is at 100mph / 0.0 F ?
Maybe I should slow down at these temps.....

Not everyone spends their days with their head stuck under the hood, some never lift the hood at all.

I think you hit it on the head......(didn't fans used to run off belts?)
Regarding wind chill.....I know the term applies to flesh.....but I can't help but think that zero degree air moving at 100+ mph is going to pull more heat away from an inanimate object faster than zero degree air standing still.......
P0112 Intake air temp sensor, stored code ....
In any case.....she's running like a striped-***-ape again!!
