Congrats on your new ride. This one looks like a real gem, with the ODO so low. Found my 07 back in OCT/08 with only 1500 on it, so there are XFire beauties out there! You're gonna really love driving this car!

 

Congrats Monty. You'll get 1 negative a$$hole like that to every 100 positives so don't worry about it. I had mine a short few hours and the president of our HOA comes up to me and says, "those are the ugliest cars I've ever seen, why did you buy one of those?" That was 4 summers ago and I haven't heard another negative since. Good luck and enjoy your new car!

Congrats on the XF, you will certainly love it. Could you do us a favor and make the font a little smaller?

As far as the comments go, people will always give you crap about it being a 'girlie' car or underpowered, but that is simply because they are jealous.

If you want to stop being referred to as a girls car, you need to make it ooze testosterone - see pics of my black beauty in my galary, been a long time since someone called it 'girlie'.

You are in the owners circle now, hopefully for quite some time to come, welcome aboard.

this is my recommendation for you raise up your spoiler manually take your wise as friend and put his head under the spoiler and lower it on him. Ask him if the spoiler is man enough for him.

 

I did the same thing,, i had put a down payment on a xfire in Texes, and the next day there was one just 200 miles away with less miles and less money, got my deposit back, drove to Gainsville,, Fl... and drove it home, never looked back, so Monty injoy to the fullest, jim

As for any sort of girly comments about the Crossfire, perhaps we should start a thread here similar to the old "Tuesday Only" gay threads they have/had over at miata.net. Hell, if you can drive a Miata and not let those comments get to you - they certainly never bothered me when I had my Miata! - then they shouldn't bother you at all with the Crossfire. Comments like that are a sign of ignorance, jealousy, or both.

 

Thanks for the funny and welcoming comments, everyone. I think, crushing the guy's head in the spoiler is a bit much, but it did make me laugh! Oh, no!!!! My ODO just passed 3,090!!!!!! The XF will share much of my driving with my Miata...and the Miata will do all the heavy lifting during the winter months. There is no way I'm exposing this beauty to a single snowflake!
