Default In very fast Company

Yesterday I met some friends for Brakfast over in Plano TX and took this picture. Now you can all see why the V8 is needed! It is hard to keep up with my friends. I did get a ride in the 599 GT. WOW was that car quick. The other car is not an Eleanor clone but is one of the actual cars built for the movie, Gone in 60 seconds.

Wow! Great pics! Thanks for sharing. Personally, I think the XF should have had the starring role in that movie!

Hey that's my dream garage! The 599 GTB is a sweet sounding engine! Never seen on in person but did get up close to one of only two Enzo's in our state last year, same engine. All nice cars!

Where is the guy who owns the Shelby from...

A buddy of mine and I hooked up with an identical eleanor...which we both think it had eleanor plates on it.

we saw it in may 2008 in houston.

we were in a 400 car cruise down to galveston and he randomly showed up at the gas station we were at....

ask him he it was him...

random.

The 599 GTB is a badass car and could run 10's from the factory if you could bolt up some nice slicks. There's been 5 of them in my shop already mostly due to the recall for bad main ground in the rear of the car.

Nice picts, I like shape of the Crossfire most, then the PT Cruiser, then the Ferrari.

Also for a long trip across the country, I'd say the crossfire will be more reliable than the Ferrari.

I was really suprised at how much smaller my Crossfire was than the Ferrari, but the 599 was probably the fastest OEM street car I have ever been in. It was a real experience! And what a sound!

I am not really sure. I bought them on Ebay. Someone here said they were an optional AMG 63 wheel. They are a very high quality replica. I have hit some major pot holes and have never been able to hurt them.

Rather than trying to keep up with those guys wouldn't it be cheaper to just find new friends with less money?

I know what you mean about “fast company”. I have coffee on Saturday mornings with the serious crowd. Besides the Ferrari F430, Ford GT and Lambos….one of the guys has a stage 2.5 HPF (Horse Power freaks) BMW M3. If you have never seen one, do a search on you tube. His puts down 680 rwhp and is absolute beast on the road! It is funny to see my little crossfire mixed in with the all the $75K plus cars. The funny part is besides a few of them, most will not even line up next to me. They don’t want to be embarrassed by the Chrysler.

PS: we are all staring at a wheel from one of the guys CLK63 Black Series.
