I just finished working on a studio project that was greatly inspired by my Crossfire. The sides, center spine, and frosted lines in the glass are the main elements that I incorporated into the design. The drawers are touch release and the glass slides over into the drawer fronts. I am really happy with how it turned out, but I welcome any comments.

Yes, I designed and built it myself. It is made of solid cherry and curly/figured cherry. It took me about 6 weeks to build and not leaving the shop until 5:00 in the morning.

 

What thats like 40 hr X 6 wk over 240 hrs. +++

 

very nice lines indeed... just curious, is it for a specific task besides regular storage (i.e. entertainment center)

 

Where did you put the popup cupholder at?

 

Thanks. I built it as a buffet table to go into a dining room, but no telling what it will end up being used as.

 

Beautiful craftsmanship, beautiful cherry wood. The creative inspiration that motivated your work shows in the finished product. I had a Design Studio. We designed furniture, graphics, and packaging. So..speaking from experience keep up the good work. Nice design. As a Designer I couldn't find anything I didn't like about the CF Coupe's exterior,interior or mechanical design. That's why I bought it.

That's badass! I definately see the crossfire cues.. I like the design on the glass and how it carrys over to the shelves. Are you selling that peice? if you are I hope (and expect) that it fetches a pretty penny.

 

That is a nice piece of work there. My crossfire usually inspires me to drive it or wash it. It's good to know that it also inspires to build a furniture! wtg!

 

I've got two out of three... time & patience, but talent... no way could I do that.
Like I said before... AWESOME piece, it will look good in the Living room with a few bottles of exotic liquors on top
