Kolevski, the main thing is do what you want to do and have fun doing it. don't worry what other people think. It's your car, do what you want to do with it.

That is all I am saying... it is his car and he can do what he wants.

I would like to ask if you have personally done any kind of racing or wrestling? I personally can't stand Nascar, but as a drag racer I respect the needed skills to compete in that sport. I also can't stand boxing, but as a martial artist, again I respect the needed skills. I may not like either but I would never say they are not a sport. Any endeavor that requires physical strength and skill and to put your saftey and life on the line is a sport. Of course this is just my opinion. I ask the question as everyone I know who competes in speed contests or physical combat regardless of the "style" respects the others as sports.

kolevski - since this thread has been seriously high jacked, I'll make some time in the next day or so and send you a PM with as much detailed info on Nitrous as I can. A complete system list and pros and cons.

Scotty I think he was reffering to WWE type. Real Wrestling is not some steriod show it's probably the most physically demanding sport in terms of conditioning and strength. Boxing ....to be great you have to be great like in any sport.

But yes Kolevski a NA guy may feel cheated if he gets beat by a car with Nitrous if it's supposed to be motor to motor but hey if you don't want to get beat then get it yourself. It's the easiest form of adding horsepower and you use when you want to it's why racers all over have used it for decades.

What's the saying fool me twice shame on me?

If that is the case, then I concede the point, even in my fairly liberal view WWE type wrestling is not a sport.

Thanks to Lantana, Sean760, parawxman, white04XF, ScottyW and all the others who helped put a positive and sincere input into this thread.

The fact is I love my car just as much as any of you, I put only the best oil in it, always use the best fuel etc. I'm not trying to turn my car into a 10 second Q/mile car. I just want an extra kick out of it and put a smile on my face, I am new to the nitrious oxide scence which is why I'm that much more excited about getting the opportunity to try it out.

I've decided to go with a dry nitrious system, basically for tunning purposes. I agree with the members who are saying "if I tune it to nitrious, then when I'm not using nitrious it will be rich" which I agree with so I think the dry system is the way to go, secondly I'm never planning on using more then a 50hp nozzle to maintain the saftey and longtivity of my engine.

blackcrossfire07 when you get beat by an SRT-6 you should curse at them because they have a s/c and its not real ENGINE TO ENGINE battle does that mean the new 370Z is a better car then the SRT because its just as quick with a N/A engine? NO, the fact is, it is what it is. If your cars quick its quick, regardless of what you've done to the engine. At the end of the day we all have different opinions thats why the worlds is as exciting as it is

ScottyW I would greatly appreciate your thoughts whether its PM or on the thread.

no problem, I just thought PM might make it easier for kolevski not having to wade through all the off topic posts, mine included

This is a very entertaining thread! But the idea here is to help him decide on how to have his nitrous system done. By those who have done it. Not if its safe or not, or ricer or not. Got it?

Looking at it from up close its not ricer but mind blowing!

I was not talking about real wrestling. I was talking about the fake stuff.

I don't race. That was something I did when I was younger and grew out of it. No more for me! I just like to speed on open highway in the middle of nowhere. I won't be racing an SRT... Put Nitrous in your car and have a blast. I will just polish my car with a diaper in the garage

As I said earlier... Nitrous is not safe. If you want to run it in your car and take the risk of blowing an engine and destroying your car, go ahead.

Why do you keep insisting on saying it is not safe? Is this your gut or experience talking? A properly sized system won't hurt a thing. I have many firends who have been using this on the street since the late '70's with no problems and they were using them on engines that weren't even as durable as a Mercedes engine. Unless you know what the hell you are talking about, give it a rest and find another thread to harass. Why don't you go harass the more experienced guys on the Eaton, Squires or V8 thread and see where that gets you?

Take it easy there Tex! You have some anger issues. I know guys that have blown up their cars... I am just saying there are better and safer ways to get extra horses. And you can get the extra horse power 100% of the time and not just in bursts.

LMAO Anger issues? Tex? It takes a lot of BS to get me going. I am actually a laid back surfer bum from Malibu (Palisades High '77, Pepperdine '81). I have been patiently reading your BS on this thread for three days hoping you would just go away so we could have a productive discussion. I even mentioned that this thread was misplaced as it tends to bring out people like you.

While you now claim to be only suggesting safer ways to make HP. Your earlier posts were elitist and you sounded like a *****. You can pick on the youth all you want when it comes to cars, but that is how the youth learn about cars! I would like to see the car hobby continue and you shouldn't be discouraging anyone here. Hell, I cut a whole in the roof of a '69 Mach 1 so I could install a sun roof. While I am embarrassed to admit that now, I did that when I was 16, I went on to love cars and learn quite a bit along the way. Now back to my Beach Boys music....

Robs 04 I believe it was a Dry NX system for jetted for 75 hp. Zex is his bottle warmer company. There's no specific kit for the NA you just by a a universal Fuel Injected single fogger system and mount the spray as close as possible to the throttle body on your Intake Tube. Then run the wire and solenoids mount your button fill the bottle push the button and away you go instant 75 hp. Just don't get to happy with it!

man, what a read....there's gas on this thread alright...unfortunately it was blood pressure that shot up 75 points instead of HP....LOL....NOS has been out there since I was a kid racing...and the only ones that I remember blowing up, were the guys, who were losing, and just had to hit the button too many times...now today, 'puters will save your butt, and other built in safely features, but then there's our "I won't be beat" syndrome, and too much gas will make one fart, just don't fart a motor my friend, but you have some guys on here who have a proven track record using it, so I would just communicate with them rather than just throwing it out there....good luck, happy modding...the rest of ya, need to throttle down a little bit before you blow up, we are getting older you know....
