Ah... I was wondering why a Texan had so much anger. That explains a lot. You are just another liberal Californian transplant ruining the great state of Texas. Go back home to the beach. It looks like the board hit you one too many times while crashing in the waves.

I am entitled to my opinions on an open forum. I am not giving BS... I am speaking my mind and warning of the dangers of Nitrous. I am not being a jerk... not until you came along.

And what do you actually know about Nitrous? And I am about as conservative as you will ever find. I love Texas and don't ever plan on going back to CA.

If you are a conservative... then I apologize for everything I said. You can stay in Texas and I am proud to have you. Just don't switch to the other side. I am sorry for being a jerk

Whats your thoughts on the dry system? keep in mind I'm not planning to put over a 50hp nozzle
You wont get enough power with the dry, and you can lean out the car...
This is what I got:
Nitrous Universal EFI NX 75 Hp (wet kit) MainLine Nitrous Systems. Also, NX automatic Nitrous Bottle Opener & Gauge, NOS Bottle Heater and Dual Purge Kit, ZEX bottle blanket and WOT.

Paul the only thing I'm worried about is tunning it to the wet system, how does your car run when your not using nitrous?

What you want to do is stay with the stock tune. And custom tune from there after the nitrous kit, you might have to delay the timing if you pick up knoking from a sendor your shop might have this.

This is what is like to use nitrous:

wet system on the corvette DynoTune Wet Kit 150HP shot from http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=206

This kit was $400 plus 4 hrs. I think. But it did not stop there, the bottle opener was $500 out the door, the purge another $250, heater $150, gauge $40. I fixed the fuel injectors for $800, NGK wires and plugs. And finally the tune. I'm thinking 2k using the best shop in town.

Seriously no ****, how dare this guy try to make his sports car faster. Shame on you!

I'm thinking about doing this as well, I want more power but not all the time. NOS sounds like the best option for me, the 75 hp wet shot sounds like the least harmful option.

Haha,

The badge is for my dads XF mine will BLOW his away!!

The kit should arrive Tuesday and I'll fit it Tuesday. It's a wet kit but I have the option of setting it up as a dry kit I'll assess the difficulty of doing it "wet" and if its not to bad I'll do it as a wet.

Nitrous is the perfect option for me, gives me power when I want it and when its not in use my car is completly normal which is what I always wanted.

I think this was answered, but just to repeat, you do not need a tune if you're running a small shot, wet or dry! I wouldn't get a tune, unless I hit the drag strip more than I drove.
