Default Craigslist/Mobile Mechanics..Your Thoughts...

First of all, I will tell you that I do not like the Idea from the get go, however, I have been forced to turn to this type of median.

I need my HID Light Bulbs installed, and I refuse to do it myself. I have done it once before and it was a royal pain in the ***, I don't have the patience nor time. I tried calling around to a few shops and they either refused to do it or I got a bad vibe, like they don't know what they're doing. To be honest im not even sure who I should be calling, a Chrysler dealer, German car mechanic, Chrysler mechanic shop, tuning shop etc.

I have looked at quite a few ads on Craigslist for small shops and mobile mechanics, and I am not impressed....at all.... to say the least. 75% of them cannot even spell or hold a decent conversation. The other portion sounds like the are a 15 year old that has seen their father do it once or twice and "Think" they can do it.

I dont know what to do.

Can you guys give me some input about your experience with craigslist or mobile mechanics, or lack of for the matter. Maybe some suggestions?

If it were me, I'd attempt to find an independant shop that exclusively works on Euro or German made cars. I'd even go as far as a visit to the shop and have a talk with the shop manager or owner. A clean well kept shop goes a long way in my book !!!
