Default Rattle in Rear of Car

Just picked up my car last Thursday and notice when I hit small bumps there is a small rattle in the rear Thought it might be the license plate but padding it did not help. Very annoying Anyone else have this problem and identified the source?

I've had this SAME problem since the day I bought mine--taking it in this week. If anyone knows what this is please tell me so I can pass it along to the dealer. It sounds like the back latch is loose even though it is not.

There is a thread under the Technical forum stating soemthing about a bushing and rear spring. I'm not sure it's the same problem??

I have the same rattle. I tried moving the passenger seat up just a little. It seems to rattle less, but I caqn still hear it. It's definately on the right side. If anyone finds what's wrong, please post.

I will post if I get any info on rear end rattles.I can check for service bulletins.Could possibly be something with the rear wing motor assembly or liftgate stops if you hear it from the liftgate area.

My car made a poping or squeaking sound, but also a rattle like something was loose. I haven't driven the car very much since driving from Naples to Panama City. My local delaer has some parts on order. something related to the rear spring and bushings. They also said they were not sure exactly what was needed to fix the problem and once they get the parts they ordered and tare it apart they might need some more parts. They wouldn't know until they take it apart. I don't know exactly what parts were ordered. I'll post an update after they work on it. I'll have them explain exactly what was replaced. I know this doesn't solve you problem, but hopefully they fix it I'll know exactly what was wrong.
See my post under "Squeaky Rear End."

MADE THE ADJUSTMENT TO THE TRUNK LID AND THE NOISE IS GONE. THAT WAS A EASY FIX.
