New '04 Alabaster Crossfire Owner that "had" oxidized headlights...
Hello Fellow Crossfire Owners. I need to shout out and let the world know that I am the proud New owner of a 2004 Alabaster Crossfire Coupe! I want to share my 1st Crossfire experience with you all. It may not seem so important but, I really think it is the only thing that was wrong with the car when I purchased it.
(Pics of my Crossifre on the lot) These were taken the night before I picked her up. Note the headlights all scratched up. I used a Verizon Wireless Storm Phone to take these photos.

The headlights didn't really bother my so much after doing searches on this site about how to possibly fix it. So now it's Friday and I decide to take my car in to work since it was the first day without rain since Monday. My co-worker checks out my headlights and immediatetly calls up a friend that has one of those mobile car businesses. An hour later he arrives at our office building to check out my headlights. Between us, they were pretty bad. So VJ (the detailer) told me he could have them in like new condition within a couple of hours. Considering how busy my schedule is, I decided to go it.
Here are some before and after pics. These were also take with my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Storm.

$99 and about two hours later when he was done, I thought he had a spare set of xfire headlights in his van replaced mine with them. I could not believe how good they came out. They finished result was great and looking like new!
I'm going to have VJ detail it as soon as we do not have rain in the forecast for at least a week.. I keep you all updated on that one also if you wish. If there is anyone in the NJ/NY area that needs a very meticulous detailer I do recommend him.

New radio also hopefully coming soon.
Hope this wasn't toooo long. Can you tell I'm excited?

Welcome to the machine.
If you cannot get the dealer to replace them headlights,
Here is one option.

Enjoy the car, I love white ones, or Black ones, or Red ones, or SSB ones, or Yellow,
Well, you get the idea

Wecome!
It's nice of you to show others how easy it is to repair this.
Now, to keep them like new, I'd suggest something along these lines:
Paint Defender - The Invisible Bra For Your Automobile
They come to you and install either
Passenger Cars & Light Trucks : XPEL X-Pel Paint and Headlamp Protection Kits
Automotive | Lamin-x Protective Films | Clear Bras | Headlight Covers | Tail Light Covers | Fog Light Covers
for your head and fog lights. Includes UV protection-the reason (mostly) for the damage in the first place. Mine was $60 installed (Lamin-x).
Or you can order the kit and DIY...
