Default Steering wheel "knock"

Has anyone noticed a knock sound and feel when you are turning the wheel when you are at a standstill or going very slow. Mine has a discernible knock and I'm not sure what it is. Can't explain it any better than that. Wish I could. If it is happening you will know what I am talking about.

Default Steering wheel "knock"

This is caused by a defective valve (causing fluid "flow by") in the recirculating ball power steering gearbox unit and the entire gearbox unit should be replaced and a four wheel wheel alignment should be performed afterwards.
