Just bought a crossfire
Just bought a used 2004 chrysler crossfire with 18,000 miles on it. Im picking it up tonight and I cant wait to take it home. Can anyone tell me how much it costs to replace all the tires? Im thinking about getting run flats but I want to know what all you guys do for tires and how much i should be paying. I will post pictures in a little while!
Thanks! So i will avoid run flats then. Just to give some more details, its a 2004 and had 2 owners. My dad has been buying cars for years because he loves his toys and finally decided to get me one considering the price we paid. It is the silver/blue metallic and its an automatic. The car is in pristine condition inside and out and drove just like a new one. We test drove 3 different brand new crossfires the same day we purchased the car so we had something to compare it to. We ended up paying 10,000 for the car which we felt was a great deal.
My dad also bought a brand new crossfire the next day at that dealership because he enjoyed driving it so much. They took 16,000 off the sticker price and he payed about 20,000 for a 2008 that is the same color and is also an automatic. Although, i think hes going to put it away and never drive it because he thinks 20 years from now it will be a collectible because there were only 2,000 made in 08.

Welcome to a great forum!!! You will find many preferences for tires so you will have to decide for yourself. I've got Michelin's and Conti's and I find the Michelin's far superior here in FL and also at the Dragon up in NC/TN. I agree with FP on the run flats....if you find them, you won't like them.
Awesome, I live in connecticut but my car will be garaged at the first warnings of snow so I probably wont need snow tires. How much should i be paying for all 4 tires? I am a college student so I dont want to buy very expensive tires. Just some good reliable tires that will last me.
You can go from $600 to $1200. Recommend you check out www.tirerack.com for their reviews and comments.

I fully agree with what Danimal told you about the tires.
I've got "Coopers" and I've been very happy with them and only paid a little more than $600 for them too.
A good friend paid $600 for a set a Good Years as well, so do shop around and look for the best price, no matter what you buy.
Oh and by the way, you can count on your Dad wanting to borrow your car. If he put his car away for safe keeping, he's going to have a terrible time keeping his hands off yours.
If you're on a budget I think the General Exclaim UHP (Ultra High Performance Summer) are a great tire, and a great value. They are available through TireRack. The set will be under $600 delivered.

Welcome to the club! I also agree check out Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels for their reviews and comments. I'm running F1 All Seasons right now, but I bought them to extend my driving season (light snow). The rears will cost you the most, shop around. You got a great deal on your ride, I paid twice that when I bought mine, used, three years ago. Enjoy!

And I agree, it WILL be collectible - but I am driving mine, anyway. I'm 49 and it's time to start enjoying life!!!
Congrats on buying a nice car. The guys on this forum are great for information and help. You should try to make an event and meet them first hand.
Best of luck. Make sure you put a good coat of wax on before the winter hits.

On the down-side... You'll have to get used to being checked out all the time. I know, tough problem to have.
I have to agree with FP. I have the "General Exclaim UHP (Ultra High Performance Summer)" on my 04 Crossfire Coupe and they have been great. I live in NJ and have put over 4000 miles in the last month or so. I can also tell you they have performed great in all the rain we have gotten lately.
