I had a 2006 GTO. I will say it was fast. But it was not nearly as much fun to drive (other than rapidly pulling away from someone) as the crossfire is. No comparison. I mean the GTO would accelerate like hell in any gear at any speed. But, hit a corner, and it wasn't so fun...

That is why they call it a 'cockpit'..... I like doing 'terrain following' low level flights......

I completely agree with the very last one, as I own a '98, and it is a fantastic car to drive.
Oh, and you can chop that $20k in half to get one, like I did, but don't tell C&D!

BC.

Yea I was quite surprised too. Hell you can get an SRT for less than $20k, and that'll whoop half the list!

One does not drive an XFire.

One experiences it.

In the 1/4 mile, the SRT6 would whoop all 10, (and without a speed limiter) probably top end em too.
On a slalom course, only the Honda beats the NA Crossfire by 1/10 of a mph. according to Road & Track.

The funny thing is that Consumer Reports did name the '04 Coupe as a best buy in the 14-17000 range. I was excited when I saw it in my parents Consumer Report book.
