Engine Mods by Startech
Has anyone seen this? Ive read alot of threads on here about how to increase the horsepower on a Limited Coupe. No real answeres can be found without a ton of headaches. I to should of just waited a little longer and just got an SRT. However, I had no idea at the time that I would have the mod problems. Recently I decided the only real way I was gonna get the hp gains I was looking for was just to do an ingine swap for an AMG motor. Of course this is way down the road for me, but I was eventually planning on doing that.
Until I came across this today.
2005 Startech Chrysler Crossfire Roadster
this link is mearly a background on the company. Startech's website is:
Crossfire
The prices are still way out of my range, however the idea of a V8 crossfire with just under 500bhp is just freakishly awesome. For 10K less I could just throw in an AMG motor and a wiring harness.

You are looking at about $80k for a Startech Crossfire.

I have to say that IMO a XF with a Chevy LS series engine would really be the business - great sound, virtually unlimited aftermarket, great availability
If you've got the cheddar...

Aside from that, I'd strongly suggest letting one of our preferred vendors tune your N/A... much cheaper in the long-run and I think StarTech has even dissolved their inventory for the Crossfire. So even finding the parts will require a miracle.
