Crumpy's SRT won't start

Whoops.
First thing I bought was solid, laminated wheel chocks like we have on our own buillding. They weigh in about 15 lbs.
Never thought about Erik. Thanks for the tip.
Finally, some progress.
When we scanned Crumpy's car the meter said "No Vin Found". It suggested the PCM but we have no way to program it so... I had it towed to the one dealer we in the St Louis GCG trust.
I told them we exchanged the RCM with no success. Assuming the dealer service shop would do everything but what the customer thought it was,
I told the service manager we saw the No VIN Found, " whatever that means?" and decided to give it to him.
This morning they ordered the new PCM (powertrain control module) and will program it Monday when it comes in.
The best part. No one mentioned the mods. So, the PCM is covered under the 8 year warranty that transfered with the car.
AMAZING.
So, with luck, Crumpy will get her car back when she returns from CT.

Great news! Can you find out what they are doing with the old ECU? If they're just gonna toss it in the trash, I'd be more than happy to throw a few bucks your way for shipping or whatever a case of beer costs if the service manager can swing something like that.

Only problem I see is that they often won't let you have the parts on warranty work.
We'll see.

Now, just keep your finger's crossed that the service guys are on the right track & the PCM fixes the issue.

I got to let Rudy have the PCM. The dude saved me at the Dragon.
It's an honor thing.
That said, I was once a politician so clearly, I can be bought.

Erzer was at the dealer today getting his car worked on. He looked into Crumpys SRT for me.
The PCM is on National Back Order!
Now, I have to think the the C-32 engine packages in the corresponding Mercedes products are the same in at least some models. I find it hard to believe they have none available in the US.
Maybe Diamler doesn't want to sell parts to a company they know is going out of business.
Meanwhile, Crumpy is driving a minivan and gettin' crabby.

Not true anyway, no bumper stickers are allowed on our Crossfires.
I do, however, have a Jim Talent(R) for Governor holding parts together on my union made Dodge truck.
