Inquiring minds want to know !
Picked it up this morning. Runs just fine.
Car is dirty as hell with 9 weeks of St Louis grit and dust on it.
Parts & labor came to about $3,500.00
Warranty was technicaly up in May of this year.

The bill said, NO CHARGE...soooooooo I signed it and left as fast as I could.

Didn't say a word about the dirt.

Crumpy is ,,,,

Now, if I can just fit that door on the roof of my roadster.

That is fantastic Franc! I know you got the hel| out of dodge as quick as you could but by any chance was the old ecu in a bag on the passenger side floorboard? (I know I'm being unreasonably optimistic here) LOL

No. Because it was a warranty repair, they wouldn't let me have it.

I didn't argue.

Great to hear the car is back in business and no charge to boot! Now you two can resume your daily races to work!

That's just cause she's waiting for you to pay.

Congrats Franc. Glad it's up and running again!

Yeah and that puts me well behind her again.

Got on our entrance ramp/lauch tube together again tonite.
She has a tankful of 4 month old gas and a stock tune. I figured I could play with her a bit.

I figured wrong!

After the smoke cleared, all I saw were two tailights off in the distance.

A Christmas gift may be harder to buy this year.
Having her SRT back will be tuff to top with a gift.

Glad she's back on the road !!!

Don't know if the loss of the use of THE CAR for such a long time would be made up by the fact there was no cost to you BUT then again anytime you can get away from the dealer/shop with a satisfied grin on your face it has to be worth it. And I do assume you were grinning all the way home!!!! Hope the new year will be good to you both...........(and to both Crossfires).
