How to deal with negative attitudes to my car because they're jealous
I've been where you are right now, but forget them! When I was 23 I drove a brand new 911 4S. You want to see pissed off ... put a 23yo (who looked 16) in a $80K car zipping around town! I had grandmothers giving me the finger. Then I realized that the only reason that these people were doing this is because they were sad that I was driving something that they felt they wouldn't achieve in a while lifetime. Of course, most also thought that my parents bought it for me - they didn't.
Take your friends out cruising for girls - I assure you that if your car helps them get a little action you will never hear anything bad again!

Yeah ill get used to it I suppose. Its mostly guys around my age driving around in old beat up ford falcons or station wagons who give me real dirty looks like they wanna fight or something. My friends love it. One of my most macho friends said he wanted to have my babies because of my car ahhah! Im just afraid some douchebag will try fight me or something or damage my car, but who the hell are they to judge so quickly? It could be my bosses car that im taking to get serviced, I could be a mechanic testing a car, I could even live in a trailer park and have won this car for all they know. Sadly however, they all assume spoiled rich kid.

Basically people think you're a snob if you have a good car.
So Ive been driving around and the girls give me great looks! The girls love the car and me in it! But the guys, think they are so macho and give the dirtiest looks ever! It really pisses me off! Makes me wanna get rid of the car almost!
How can I be more intimadating to these boneheads? I even got the finger today while I was parking by some tool with piercings in his nose and graffiti on his car! WTF

The worst thing about that kind of attitude is that we all would like to help our kids (either current or future) be better off than what we were, so unless you actually were acting snobby / "better than thou," there shouldn't be a negative reaction.
