2 weeks to the day after purchase, luggage arrives
I actually found this forum looking for information on the Crossfire luggage - the dealership didn't really know anything about it; the salesman thought it was something that the sales manager was comping the customers in exchange for paying $5000 over MSRP for the car. I bought my car late Friday evening two weeks ago, this morning the luggage was sitting on my doorstep.
I have to say, the quality is excellent and far exceeds what I expected for a freebie from Chrysler. I can say that I did not receive anything nearly as nice when I bought my Viper. Now I have to decide whether I should use the stuff regularly, or save it for special occasions - it's that nice. An especially nice touch, I thought, was having my VIN number on a little metal tag with a call-if-found number - presumably if it were returned by someone Chrysler could track me down with it.
Hopefully the European UK guys will be able to get their own sets sent - they're worth the effort. If someone's on the fence about whether to get an Xfire, then I'd say that the free set of fitted luggage would be one more reason in the "buy" column.
