Default Sprint booster gone bad?

Has anyone had their sprint booster go bad. If so, what did it do or not do. I installed mine about a year ago in my Limited with auto stick. Doesn't seem like it is working correctly right now.
When it was first installed shifts felt quicker with little to no drag. It seems to cause erratic control when going in each gear lately. The drag seems to be back like stock. Not all the time though. On and off.

Have you done a throttle body reset?

Talking Re: Sprint booster gone bad?

My sb never affected the shift, just the onset of the throttle was significantly faster, BUT NOT NEAR ENOUGH; TOADY THROTTLE RESPONSE, BETTER BUT TOADY STILL.

I have ordered an improved version that I will be testing asap so I can see if it helps on the track where it is critical to have. Our cars are so doggy, flat foot the throttle in neutral and watch the revs doddle up to 4000, aargue!

You can verify that your sb is an issue by bypassing it and seeing if the issue is still there without it in the car.

try doing a manual throttle reset and see if you notice a difference. If you do, then your SB isn't working

Logically, it seems that if you reset your throttle and the issue is gone then that was the issue. If the issue doesn't go away after the reset then pull out the Sprint Booster, reset the throttle and test. If issue is gone then you had a bad Sprint Booster, if the issue is still there then it is something else.

Sounds like a cereal box. New and Improved.
Could you tell us, (1st.) Why was it improved. (2nd.) How was it improved. (3rd.) Is the first one a prototype for what would appear to be the new and better version. Please keep us informed. thanks.

Woody, I have heard a lot of guys do a lot of talking about these SBs and I finally got one, sort of.... I borrowed Tom2112's at the Dragon to test it out. There is definitely a noticeable improvement, but for $300, there better be. Lots of people have explained what they do and why and have even gone so far as to say they can duplicate it for very little money, but we have seen nothing. Please tell us you have some sort of new design and those of us that have not yet purchased sprint boosters will be saving lots of money
