OK. wife and I about to leave from Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri to go to Clearwater Florida, just outside of Tampa. I looked at the owners manual and it says maximum load is 415 lbs. Holy crap! I weigh about 175 and wife about 135, doesn't leave much for luggage etc. Am I going to cause problems if we fill up the back end and take off??? I'm just talking about normal stuff like clothes etc. Thanks! steve

 

My wife and I run ~400 and we've run long distances with a full trunk (roadster) and a bunch of booze too. I wouldn't worry too much unless you're carrying gold boullion.

My son (offensive guard) and his tackle buddy drive around all of the time in mine. There isn't much travel left in the suspension, but no issues.

That's 675 lbs.
