Can Anyone Check This Out
All our panels on our cars have stickers on them called universal security guards. Someone looked at my car and not seeing it on my fenders inside the hood thought maybe they were replaced fenders. I have them on each door edge, trunk, and hood. Are any of you able to look and see if inside your hood on your fenders if you have tags. Could be in a spot not visible. Don't want to think I bought a junk car. See pic showing tag. Ron

I just looked on Bat's Crossfire, and its a little sticker that says "TriPac Identifier".
It has a telephone number, and an identifying code.
I couldn't see one on the front fenders, but it was on both doors, the hood, and the trunk lid.
BC.

It might be on there somewhere, but I'm not pulling the plastics in the fenderwells in order to look for it.
I wouldn't be worried about not seeing the stickers on your car.
Seems normal to me.

Looks like an aftermarket item. When I bought my pick up 5 or 6 years ago they included this with every vehicle on the lot and tacked on about $300.00 to the price. I had to argue to get them to reverse the charge as the stickers were already put on. It is registered if it ever gets stripped for parts - big deal. It was just another scam for dealers to make more money.

NICE HOOD SCOOP! WHERE DID YOU GET THAT? COOL! Thanks Ron

I just wasn't sure why the lack of stickers was causing you concern. I mistakenly thought you were worried that your car may have "aftermarket" replacement body parts on it, and that's not possible because there aren't any available.
I'm glad you got a great deal on your car. They truly are the best automotive "deal" out there. Enjoy.

Etching glass leaves a permanent identification number on the glass but even that has it's limits.
