UK convertible
According to the Telegraph which is usually accurate,
QUOTE:
"Starting in May,1000 left-hand-drive drophead chrysler crossfires will be imported to the UK to test the market place at 2000 higher than the fixed head"
If this is correct I personally think that DCUK should change their name to DUCK (up!)
UK customers expect right hand drive, not being fobbed off as afterthoughts, how can Chrysler expect any good press recognition when they seem to be pedalling backwards so often with this "NEW" product.
Am I the only one not to have received any aftercare calls or are we new owners now just a statistic for Chrysler.
The last two cars weve had were from Mercedes and Landrover, and both companies made curtesy calls for the first few months followed by every 3 months.
Unfortunately I already have a few niggles which need to be fixed:misted up headlamps, sagging passenger seat (only been sat in a half dozen times),white noise from speakers (when stereo on or off) and still waiting for a service book.
Anyone else got the same niggles?
Other than that the car is great and trouble free and still getting lots of oohs.

I've got the sagging seat as well and it is beginning to cause me a few hip niggles if I sit in the car for a long time.
Headlight adjusters seem to have just two actual positions [ despite the dial that makes look like theres more ], too high or too low?
Boot ram is badly adjusted, you have to be careful or you'll smash the glass if you just let go?.
Locking wheel nuts or lack of them. I ws told theer was a UK TSB out for them but I haven.t heard anything since.
Seats the only real issue.
She sure is a flyer though!!!!

The seats in my U.S. car are fine, so far, and I'm not skinny. 5'8" 190 lbs. I've had the car since early Oct. and I have 3,800 miles. My butt has been in that seat for quite some time. I wouldn't think the seats would be different. Just the electrics.
You can tell that my seats have been sat in, I would not say they look "saggy" by any strech ( pun intended ). I have 5800 miles on mine.
I also am not a small guy, 6 foot 250 lbs. I also have seen the misty headlighs, although they clear up with the lights on ( a little heat ).

There is a modification now available to fix the head lamp misting issue, I am due to have this resolved today.
Car came standard with locking wheel nuts, the key should be with the tyre inflator.

From what I've found the mistyness of the headlights gets worse the longer the journey time.It seems that the seals are not correct as I've never had or seen it on any other car.
Regarding the seats, the part where your cheeks are does not appear to be the same grade as the rest of the seat (almost plastic feel),where we're saying it is saggy, when it is warmed by sitting or heating after a while it rises into a ripple looking cheap.I am going to the dealer next week with my complaints to be dealt with (hopefully).

I have misting in my headlights as well is this common in cars cos my Neon had it as well. I have not noticed any sagging in the seat yet but will give it a closer look.
I also need a service book.

I just picked mine up today and still can't wipe the grin off my face.
I gave it a quick hose down before stickin git away in the garage for the night, and my headlamps have misted up but only a little.
My ST170 does the same thing and it's due to a combination of slightly ill fitting seals, warm air in the headlamp void and cold air outside causing condensation.
Not sure if there is a TSB to have some silica gel or the like inserted into the void, but this would help.
Will keep an eye on my seats.
It is up to your dealership to fit the locking wheel nuts, if they aren't tight buggers. The car doesn't come with them from DCUK or otherwise. J. Weir provides them free.
Like most of the rest of you, I have no service log book either.
I did get a clock for my coffee table though???

Hey, I just got my Sapphire Silver Auto Crossfire and it drives just great.
I have the misty headlamps too! Have any of you guyz had to take it back to the dealer and what were there comments. My dealer says it's like that on every one he's sold and there's nothing that can be done!
